Historical Context

The GT-7 was the larger model of the Ace Tone GT-5, which is identical to the Hammond X-5. Around the time of its launch, Hammond began marketing combo and portable organs made by Sakata Shokai under the Hammond name (models X-2, X-5, and B-200). Subsequently, Ace Tone organs disappeared from the U.S. market.
